Strongest available team. With the caveat that I don't know if all the international players (particularly Antonio) made it back fit/on time, then:
Fabianski
Johnson Dawson Zouma Cresswell
Rice Soucek
Fornals Benrahma Bowen
Antonio

As exile, with games against Man City and Chelsea to follow we really need three points from this one.

It that your genuine team? Or is this some sort of shit parody account? So confused right now.
As long as everyone is fit, team picks itself, same as last prem game, with Dawson in for Oggy.

I feel you're right about Moyes and his selection for League games. He's going to have get his defence right with the upcoming fixtures. Does he go for the old head of Dawson or Diop and his better pace. That's a close call. It will be interesting if Alese or Baptiste gets some minutes or are even on the bench with Genk on Thursday on his mind.
I'm hoping I'm wrong with my doubts about Antonio's fitness. With that I'm selecting Antonio to start.
Same team as you Exile

Unchanged other than Ogbonna obviously.
Johnson retains the shirt, as he's been very good. Should also be fresher than Coufal

At least we have 2 good RB's worth squabbling over. Even in today's game, I'm not sure Moyes will chop and change the RB depending on oppo, as that can also impact how we want to play..ie play to your strength's and not worry too much about the oppo.
Johnson will very likely start Saturday, but will be interesting how this unfolds over the coming weeks..

Johnson's had 0 assists in 33 first team games. Coufal's had 9 in 48, which is an incredible amount for a full back who doesn't take corners or free kicks.
You don't even need to see the stats. Just watch any game and you can see that Johnson is quite poor in the opposition half. Hopefully he'll improve that side of his game. In the mean time he's probably already a better defender than Coufal so could be first choice when the opposition's main threat comes from the left.

Playing is a broad term for it, it just looked like he was trying to keep warm, the poor lamb.

Roeder - Yea I know that soppy, but by scoring against Villa Johnson has shown he is capable of being a threat, and he is also more than capable of ''joining in attacks'' What do you think he will do when we attack, stand about with his hands on his hips?? He wouldn't have made it this far if he could only defend and had no attributes going forward. Did I say you were soppy..

Re: Team for Wolves - Premier League

Attacking threat for a full back is more about getting forward & joining in attacks than who has scored one goal v nil goals. Coufal is superior in that area but Johnson at 21 has time to develop that side of his game.
The game after international breaks is always difficult and using players who have been training at home isnt a bad strategy. I'd pick Johnson here but Coufal will be back soon enough. Its fantastic that we have two very good players pushing each other.
Antonio is obviously the biggest worry but hopefully all the UK based Jamaicans were on a private jet back QUICK SMART. Soucek & Fornals sat out games & Rice was home 'ill' so we arent too badly off. Benrahma has been in AFRICA (although a sub) so Lanzini may get a start.
As mentioned on the other thread Raul Jimenez was playing Canada at 2am our time yesterday & the other S Korean striker was in Uzbekistan.
